Movimentos edition

Recapturing Movimentos Matinees

Since 2006, Sunday matinees featuring young artists have been an integral part of the Movimentos Festival Weeks. Young musicians performing at the Autostadt give their interpretation of classical compositions. For the artists as well as the audience these chamber music matinees are a very memorable experience - an experience one wishes would last longer. This wish has now become a reality with the publication of the series “Movimentos Edition”. The “Movimentos Edition” is a CD programme which, in collaboration with the renowned music publisher Genuin, releases two to three recordings of the matinees annually. In brilliant miniature the “Movimentos Edition” represents the Matinee programmes’ rich cultural diversity. As part of this series two new CDs have been released at the Movimentos Festival Weeks 2013.
