"Half A Minute" and "Get Out of Your Lazy Bed" were the great international chart hits of the 1980s by British pop and new jazz band Matt Bianco. The group based around singer Mark Reilly has had a presence in the music world ever since, constantly bringing out new albums that have won new fans with their combination of pop, Latin jazz and funk. After various changes in line-up, the album Matt's Mood was released in 2004, an almost seamless continuation of the first release.

Matt Bianco's collaboration with New Cool Collective is equally full of energy and verve. The eight-piece jazz ensemble from the Netherlands has received multiple awards throughout the 25 years of its existence for its refreshing mix of Latin jazz and soul. Not least, the ensemble is proof of the fact that catchy jazz tunes can reach a wide audience without falling into banality. New Cool Collective have demonstrated this at concerts and festivals in Europe, Canada, Asia and Africa. They have collaborated with a number of artists including Tony Allen, Mapacha Africa and Georgie Fame.

To mark the release of their collaborative album The Things You Love, Matt Bianco & New Cool Collective are going on tour in 2017 – high-energy grooves and a swinging good time are guaranteed.
