Yang/Yin yoga and mindfulness with Detlev Alexander

Workshops on 29 April 2017, 10:00 to 13:00h and 14:00 to 17:00h, Autostadt Lounge 3/4

In this workshop, participants practice yang/yin yoga and mindfulness meditation. Yin yoga is performed passively. It acts on the deep layers of the body and has a rejuvenating and soothing effect. Yang yoga is more powerful and dynamic, strengthens the muscles and has an energetic and stimulating effect on body and mind. Mindfulness, the third focus of the workshop, relates to seeing things as they are, without selecting or adding anything.

THE INSTRUCTOR
Detlev Alexander has taught yoga and meditation for more than 10 years. He presents courses, retreats and training. In his earlier career, he worked as a professional stage dancer, choreographer and classical ballet teacher.
