The ZeitHaus museum in Wolfsburg’s Autostadt is the world’s most visited car museum. It features a remarkably diverse range of exhibits, with more than 60 different makes of car from throughout the automobile world. These were the trendsetters of their day, setting benchmarks in technology, production method and design and going on to inspire other manufacturers.
Outside of the Movimentos Festival season, the films are shown in the Panorama Cinema on a specially designed high-definition screen. More than 15 million pixels create an image measuring 21x4 metres on a curved LED screen. What makes this unique is that the image spans the entire 120° range of human vision. The sound system pinpoints audio sources and makes it possible to produce different spatial and audio situations. More than 90 loudspeakers, together with the curved LED screen, create a unique audio-visual experience. During the Movimentos Festival, the cinema is used for staged readings, plays and performances.
The FreiRaum’s movable partition walls allow the venue to be used in different ways. This is where the Autostadt's educational department holds its events. Especially equipped with a sprung floor for movement classes, the rotunda is also an exclusive rehearsal space for the Movimentos Academy dance class and other groups.
The Staatstheater Braunschweig is a renowned three division theatre complex with a rich tradition spanning more than three centuries. The theatre in its current form presents opera, dance, drama and youth theatre. Open air performances on the Burgplatz are a popular summer destination for local theatre lovers and tourists alike to enjoy a unique opera and concert experience. The Movimentos Academy will give a guest performance at the Staatstheater Braunschweig on 30 April 2017.

Brunswick Cathedral was constructed by Henry the Lion, Duke of Saxony and Bavaria. With its Romanesque art works, the basilica is one of the most outstanding cathedrals in Germany. Since 1923, the cathedral has been the episcopal church of the Braunschweig Lutheran Church, and has made a successful transition from a ducal court church to an everyday church in the city centre.
One of Germany's truly unique cultural locations was created in Wolfsburg in April 2007. A 1960s indoor swimming pool complex was intricately converted into a modern cultural centre. Today, it is a venue for a wide variety of cultural events. Music, theatre, dance, cabaret, comedy, films and visual arts are offered in the uncommon ambience of a gigantic indoor swimming pool. The diversity of events has made the Hallenbad a main meeting place for culture aficionados of every ilk. At the same time, it enriches the city with a top-notch cultural programme staged in a truly unique atmosphere.
Designed by architect Hans Scharoun, the Theater Wolfsburg opened in 1973. At the centre of the theatre building is the auditorium, which is designed to give every member of the audience an equally good view of the stage. Theater Wolfsburg is one of Germany's leading theatres for touring and guest performances.
Theater der Stadt Wolfsburg GmbH
Named after Bernward von Hildesheim, this Catholic church is located in the Alt-Wolfsburg district and was built in 1963-65. The church is a branch of the St. Christopher parish (Wolfsburg) in the deanery Wolfsburg-Helmstedt of the Hildesheim diocese.
Built in 1805 by C. G. Langwagen, the Michaeliskirche (church) is idyllically situated near the Fallersleber Castle and pond. The rectangular, transverse construction of the main hall is of rare art historical significance. The altar and church nave are located along the middle of the south wall and the pews face the centre of the church from three sides.

Productions by the school for contemporary dance, theatrical dance and musical theater have enriched the local cultural landscape for many years. Founded by Sabine Thanner in 1983, the Tanzende Theater is committed to the idea of having professional dancers, choreographers, dance instructors and artists teach children, adolescents and adults and help them develop interdisciplinary stage projects. The Tanzende Theater has served as a creative partner for the Autostadt since the opening of the Movimentos Academy.
The Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg is an active centre dedicated to modern and contemporary art. Exhibitions of international art have been presented here since 1994 along with comprehensive educational programmes. Located in the centre of Wolfsburg, the modernist building offers 3,500 square metres of space for temporary exhibitions and works from the museum's collection. During the Movimentos Festival, the Autostadt offers special festival packages in cooperation with the Wolfsburg Art Museum.
